Geely Galaxy Battleship 700 launches in China from RMB 179,800
Geely Galaxy has launched the Battleship 700 plug-in hybrid in China with an introductory price starting at RMB 179,800, down from the earlier RMB 199,800 pre-sale entry price. The official page lists six variants and up to 305 km of stated electric range for a two-wheel-drive version, without identifying the test cycle. Gulf availability has not been announced.

Geely invests in Nio to develop EVs compatible with battery-swapping network
Geely Holding Group and Nio announced a comprehensive strategic partnership on 28 September 2026 involving cross-shareholding in energy infrastructure. Geely will acquire a 30% stake in Nio Power in exchange for its complete Yiyi Power equity and 640 million yuan cash injection. Geely announced on 23 September 2026 its Geely Smart Charge station featuring AI-powered technology with a peak single-gun output of 2,250 kW, marking a new industry benchmark.
