Luxeed, a joint brand between Chery and Huawei, launched its RX electric SUV in the Chinese market on 28 September 2026, offering up to 852 km range and 586 hp in dual-motor AWD configuration across six trim levels.
The Luxeed RX entered the Chinese market on 28 September 2026 with a price range spanning 259,800 to 389,800 yuan (USD 38,700 to 58,065). The lineup comprises six trim levels, from the entry Max variant through the Premium Ultra+ configuration, with options for extended range batteries and all-wheel drive.
The RX presents distinctive proportions featuring an extended bonnet line and pronounced dash-to-axle spacing that evokes comparisons to the Ferrari Purosangue. The vehicle measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
Powertrain options include a single rear-mounted electric motor rated at 277 kW (371 hp) for base models and a dual-motor AWD configuration producing 437 kW (586 hp) combined. Three battery options—81.1 kWh, 100.25 kWh, and 100.42 kWh—deliver ranges between 700 and 852 km under CLTC testing protocols.
The interior accommodates a 16.1-inch floating touchscreen, an 8.88-inch passenger display, and a 26-inch head-up display. The vehicle integrates 38 sensors and four LiDAR units, including one with 896 lines, enabling address-to-address autonomous driving capability. Front seats feature 98 sensors and 27 active air bladders that dynamically adjust support based on driving conditions and occupant posture. The trunk offers 622 liters of standard storage with 30 liters of concealed capacity.
