BYD Unveils Denza N8L EV: AI-Powered Luxury SUV with 960 km Range
BYD announced a fully electric version of the Denza N8L luxury SUV on 15 September 2026, delivering a range of up to 960 km under CLTC standards. The Premium variant starts at 299,800 yuan (approximately $45,000), while the Flagship model reaches 329,800 yuan (around $49,000).
The new Denza N8L EV is equipped with BYD's Blade Battery 2.0 featuring a capacity of 130.15 kWh and employs an 800V electrical architecture. Flash Charging technology enables rapid charging from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes, while a complete recharge from 10% to 97% requires approximately 9 minutes.
The vehicle accommodates six passengers in a 2+2+2 seating arrangement, with dimensions of 5,200 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, paired with a 3,075 mm wheelbase. Premium interior appointments include NAPPA leather seating, suede velvet roof trim, and six digital displays featuring an AR Head-Up Display, alongside a high-fidelity Devialet sound system.
The SUV integrates BYD's Disus-A body control system with dual-chamber air suspension, designed to deliver what the manufacturer describes as a "million-level driving experience." Advanced driver assistance technology includes God's Eye 5.0 assisted driving, supporting high-speed autonomous navigation and remote automated parking, complemented by an integrated AI assistant and Smart Travel Ecosystem enabling control of connected smart home devices.
