The online configurator will allow buyers to customize their vehicle with an expected deposit of approximately $1,000. BMW has not officially announced pricing but is anticipated to reveal figures shortly after reservations open. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2027.
The i3 50 xDrive features 400 kW DC fast charging, capable of recovering approximately 440 kilometers of range in just ten minutes. The sedan includes a standard NACS connector for direct compatibility with Tesla Supercharger networks. The interior incorporates a 17.9-inch touchscreen display, BMW Panoramic Vision, and an optional 3D Head-Up Display extending across the windshield base.
Expected pricing for the i3 50 xDrive ranges from $55,000 to $60,000, positioning it below the iX3 SUV's $61,500 starting price. The sedan will compete against Tesla Model 3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA EV, which begin at $38,630 and $47,250 respectively. BMW aims to replicate the iX3's momentum, which has already accumulated over 100,000 orders in Europe.
